Wholemeal Cheese Biscuits
Ingredients:
- 200 g wholemeal flour
- 100 g butter
- 100 g grated cheese
- Pinch salt
- 2–3 tbsp milk
Method:
- Rub butter into flour.
- Add cheese and salt.
- Stir in milk.
- Bake 12 minutes at 190 °C.
Oat & Herb Crackers
Ingredients:
- 200 g oats
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
- 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
- Warm water as needed
- Pinch salt
Method:
- Blitz oats to flour.
- Mix in herbs and salt.
- Add fat and water to make dough.
- Roll thin and bake 15 minutes at 180 °C.
Seeded Savoury Biscuits
Ingredients:
- 100 g oats
- 50 g mixed seeds
- 2 tbsp butter
- Pinch salt
- Water to bind
Method:
- Combine all ingredients and add water to bind.
- Shape and flatten.
- Bake 20 minutes at 170 °C.
Cheese & Herb Oatcakes
Ingredients:
- 200 g oats
- 75 g grated hard cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp thyme or rosemary
- Pinch salt
Method:
- Mix all ingredients; add water if dry.
- Roll out and cut rounds.
- Bake 15 minutes at 180 °C.
Garlic Butter Biscuits
Ingredients:
- 200 g wholemeal flour
- 100 g butter
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tbsp milk
- Pinch salt
Method:
- Rub butter into flour and salt.
- Add garlic and milk.
- Shape biscuits and bake 12–15 minutes at 190 °C.
Parmesan & Pepper Biscuits
Ingredients:
- 150 g wholemeal flour
- 75 g butter
- 50 g grated parmesan
- ½ tsp black pepper
Method:
- Combine to form dough.
- Roll and cut circles.
- Bake 10–12 minutes at 190 °C.
